New York City at Night: A Photographer Dream

New York City is one of the most iconic and photogenic cities in the world. It has a unique skyline that can be admired from different angles and perspectives. One of the best ways to capture the beauty of the city is to photograph it at night, when the lights create a stunning contrast with the dark sky.
One of my favorite spots to photograph New York City at night is from New Jersey, across the Hudson River. From there, you can get a panoramic view of the whole city, from the Statue of Liberty to the Empire State Building. The reflections of the lights on the water add an extra layer of interest and depth to the image.
To take this photo, I used a tripod and a remote shutter release to avoid camera shake. I recommend to use a wide-angle lens to fit as much of the city as possible in the frame. I set the aperture to f/11 and the shutter speed to 12 seconds to get a sharp and well-exposed image. I also used a low ISO of 125 to reduce noise and increase dynamic range, you can see under each image the settings I used.
I hope you enjoyed this blog post and learned something new about night photography. If you have any questions or comments, feel free to leave them below. Thank you for reading!
