The Pigeon
This is a blog post about a pigeon I photographed in Amsterdam.
I know most people don't pay much attention to pigeons and think they are dirty and annoying.
But I saw something different in this one.
It was resting on a wooden pole in a canal, and it looked so beautiful and elegant to me.
I wanted to capture its colors, its eyes, and its grace.
I had a clear vision of how I wanted the photo to look like.
I like to challenge myself to see things differently.
Whether it's something I use every day or something I encounter in my routine.
I try to find new angles and perspectives on the same subjects.
You can see that in my galleries, where I have photos of the same places but with different moods and styles.
For this photo, I decided to darken the background to make the pigeon stand out more.
I think it worked well and it shows the contrast between the pigeon and its surroundings.
I hope you like it and appreciate the beauty of pigeons too.
