Amsterdam Lockdown 2020 and 2021
Hi everyone! I hope you are all doing well and staying safe in these challenging times.
As you know, we have been living with on and off lockdowns since March 2020. Some months are more strict and harder than others, but we have to remember that it is for our own health and protection.
I know it can be very hard to deal with it, especially if you are feeling lonely, bored, or anxious.
That's why I think it is very important to take care of yourself and the ones around you and make sure you are also taking care of your mental health as well.
Personally, I have had my ups and downs with the lockdowns.
Sometimes I am fine with it and I enjoy the extra time at home, but sometimes I feel frustrated and restless.
I have found that focusing on my hobbies and especially on improving my photography skills helps me a lot.
The situation creates unique scenarios where we will never have those chances again to see the city so empty, so different.
I like to go out for walks when it is allowed and capture the beauty of the deserted streets, the empty parks, and the unusual silence.
It makes me appreciate the things that I used to take for granted and also gives me a creative outlet.
I want to share some of my photos with you in this blog post and tell you a bit more about how I took them and what they mean to me.
Maybe they will inspire you to try something new or just enjoy the view.
Let me know what you think in the comments and feel free to share your own lockdown experiences and photos as well. We are all in this together!
